How we work

What happens after you get in touch, how long a website takes and what you own at the end.

How a project runs

  1. A short call

We talk through what you’re making, who it’s for and your budget. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so.

  2. A written quote

We price the project to its scope and send the quote in writing. Work starts once you’ve agreed to it.

  3. We design and build it

The person who designs your site also builds it. If the scope changes along the way, we price the change in writing before we do it.

  4. We launch and hand over

We launch the site, walk you through editing it on a call and give you a written guide.

A typical brochure site takes 2 to 4 weeks. The timing depends on how soon we get your content and feedback.

What’s included

Every quote lists what’s included and what isn’t.

Each website comes with its design, build and launch, a walkthrough call and a written guide to editing it. Copywriting, photography or anything else is listed in the quote when it’s part of the job.

Platforms

We build in Webflow, Squarespace or custom code. Which suits you depends on who will update the site and what it needs to do.

What you own

The domain, the hosting and the accounts are in your name, so you can move the site without asking us.

For 30 days after your site goes live, we fix anything we built that doesn’t work as your quote describes, at no charge. This is on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. New work after launch is quoted in writing first.

Questions

What does a project cost?

We price each project to its scope, after a short call about what you need. If you have a budget in mind, tell us and we’ll say early what we can do for it.

Tell us what you’re making

A few lines will do. We reply within 1–2 business days. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so and suggest who might be.
